You can try your agent directly in WhatsApp using the Kapso sandbox before connecting it to a real WhatsApp Business account.

Using the Kapso Sandbox

1. Create a WhatsApp sandbox session

To test your agent in WhatsApp, you need to create a sandbox session through the Kapso web application at app.kapso.ai.

In the web app:

  1. Navigate to your agent
  2. Go to the WhatsApp testing section
  3. Create a new sandbox session
  4. Enter your phone number where you’ll receive WhatsApp messages

You’ll receive:

  • A unique activation code
  • The sandbox WhatsApp number
  • An activation link (wa.me link) with the code pre-filled

2. Activate your sandbox session

After creating the sandbox session, you’ll need to activate it:

  1. Open WhatsApp on your phone
  2. Either:
    • Click the activation link provided (e.g., https://wa.me/56926403035?text=THVIOX), which will open WhatsApp with the message pre-filled
    • OR manually add the sandbox number to your contacts and send the activation code (e.g., THVIOX) to it

Once activated, you’ll receive a confirmation message, and your sandbox session will be ready to use.

3. Test your agent

With your sandbox session activated, you can now:

  1. Deploy your agent if you haven’t already:

The agent will respond through WhatsApp, allowing you to test the conversational experience exactly as your end users would see it.
